Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Specialist to build and execute the people operations function at Cyber Force. You will be the first dedicated HR hire in a growing cybersecurity consultancy of 20+ professionals, reporting to the CEO. Your focus will be on three pillars: recruitment and onboarding, performance management, and culture and engagement. Payroll administration, tax filings, and statutory paperwork are handled by an existing contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer packs
- Design and execute structured onboarding: first-day logistics, orientation, 30/60/90-day check-ins
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline across technical and non-technical functions
- Implement and administer the performance management cycle: goals, reviews, appraisals, development plans
- Work with team leads to define KPIs and competency frameworks per department
- Drive employee engagement: team events, recognition programs, pulse surveys
- Monitor retention, identify flight risks, recommend interventions
- Maintain employee records in coordination with payroll/tax contractor
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law
- Leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for JD drafting, policy research, communications
- Serve as first point of contact for employee HR queries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related
- 3–5 years of HR experience (recruitment, performance management, engagement)
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Solid knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law
- End-to-end recruitment process design experience
- Performance management system implementation experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and discretion
- Microsoft 365 proficiency
- Experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) — preferred
- Professional services / consultancy / tech environment — a strong plus
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, CIPD) — a plus
- HRIS platform experience — a plus
